Cognia Performance Standards are at the heart of continuous improvement and accreditation. They define the characteristics of a good education institution and provide guidelines for efforts that will energetically and visibly grow learners, teachers, leaders, and organizations.
Student Perspective
Through innovative and interactive Zoom sessions, enhanced by the Class App, students engage in synchronous sessions with teachers while completing their classwork through Itslearning, enriched by Edgenuity in middle and high school. With a small school feel created through additional, intensive support sessions, all students can succeed and thrive with the partnership of their home learning coaches and teachers.
Each student has a parent or other responsible adult who serves as the Learning Coach. It is critical that the established learning coach provides supervision and is fully involved in the learning experience for virtual students.
